The Sunday in Kolkata

I have grown up in a versatile city where everyday life stops me to think deeply. The city is full of daily busy-biased lifes.
Daily Busy Life of Calcutta's : A view of Rickshaw crossing in tramline with few pedestrian.
From the child playing in gown, street or in rooftop, to the student , gazing at sky from the classroom window, every children and young suffers from lackadaisical.

The view changes in Sunday only. The Citizen gets up early in morning and have tea or coffee. I usually go to Maidan to play football in early Morning.

People goes to local bazar (market) and buy something special. It’s a unofficial holiday for all. The most people prefer to catch the fish or to buy meat. The “Bangali” is famous for their routine and intimacy with fish.

There’s a popular phrase about “Bangali” that is very prideful and hygenic to Citizens of the City, “ঝালে-ঝোলে-অম্বলে (Jhale Jhole Ambole)” which means “Bengali is in everywhere”, maybe in chair, Baranda, চায়ের ঠেক ( the near around local tea shop where “Bangali” used to gossip).

Some others “Bangali Babu” preferred to buy meat, either chicken or Mutton. The popular dialogue has been heard from them is, “আজ কষা হচ্ছে” which means the meat is being prepared as curry or chap like chicken chap or mutton chap. This view is in kitchen. But the City is more than in kitchen. Sunday, the holiday also referred to them as funday. Around 10'o clock to 12' , the pedler moves from this ‘Gali’ to another ‘Gali’ and buy old and unused things from the houses.

The young boys and girls go to coaching, Movies, Zoo(specifically in winter), or Picnic. The ethnic beauty of the city is in it`s narrow sized lane. But, on Sunday the view of lane is different as the crowd is no longer there, local pedestrian passes by and The city become more beautiful.
The Lane is full of Art, isn’t it Aesthetic?
The Kolkata was Calcutta once. The Calcutta was British Colonised Cityhub. The similarity I found between old London and Calcutta’s old street and its heritage building’s architecture is in its unhidden brick’s from walls and Lime dust ring. The anatomic view of the city remember the old East Indian Company’s days to City’s old-aged Citizens.
